Following Saturday's talks between Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his US counterpart John Kerry in Geneva, Araghchi told IRIB that both sides reviewed all issues, however, differences still remain.
“Iranian and 5+1 group of negotiators are due to meet again in Vienna on Thursday at deputy and expert level,” Araghchi said.
“The issue of interviews with nuclear scientists is generally off the table as well as the inspection of military sites,” Araghchi told reporters as he arrived for the talks with Kerry. “How additional protocol would be implemented is still a matter of disagreement that we are still talking about.”
Iran's Deputy FMs Abbas Araghchi and Majid Takht-Ravanchi, US Under-Secretary of State, Wendy Sherman and Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz, European Union Deputy Foreign Policy Chief Helga Schmid were also present in the talks.
Iranian and US negotiators led by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Secretary of State John Kerry concluded talks in Geneva on patching up differences over a future comprehensive nuclear agreement and are due to meet again in Vienna on Thursday.
The two parties have set July 30 as the deadline for a possible final deal.
